Giant Motors Latin America, a 100% Mexican company dedicated to the production, assembly, distribution, and sale of vehicles, was founded in 2006. With the goal of entering the Mexican automotive market, in 2017 it established a strategic alliance with JAC, one of the leading commercial vehicle manufacturers in China and a leader in exports.
Problem
Facing significant challenges after the alliance, JAC noticed a problem with the way it ran its operations and processes. Each area used a different solution, which led to inconsistencies and wasted time executing operations. There was no tool to centralize data and automate processes, which hampered access to relevant information and efficient decision-making.
Our Solution
To address these challenges, JAC was looking for a comprehensive solution. With the help of iNBest and in collaboration with its team, they implemented digital services in the Azure cloud, integrating Business Intelligence (Power BI). This tool enabled the centralization of information and quick, easy, and secure access to relevant data. It also facilitated report generation and decision-making based on reliable information through the creation of dashboards for analysis.
Factors determinants
The adoption of Power BI allowed JAC to gain a cross-departmental view of all departments, gathering accurate data for automated report generation. With this solution, they were able to measure the percentage of monthly sales, progress in the sales process, closed leads, and other key indicators. The implementation of Business Intelligence has been fundamental to the success of the partnership with Giant Motors, achieving greater efficiency, creating a new digital ecosystem, and a new digital process diagram.
Today, Giant Motors Latin America has more than 50 national dealerships and aims to become one of the leading commercial vehicle brands in Mexico and Latin America. Thanks to the adoption of solutions like Microsoft Power BI, they have been able to automate their processes and significantly reduce the time required to complete tasks that previously took days, now taking a matter of minutes.
