Successful implementation of

SAP Business One in the cloud
for Jasman

Jasman is a 100% Mexican automotive clinic with a broad presence nationwide, with more than 70 service centers spread across eight states.

Problem

Due to its constant growth, Jasman faced the need to implement an ERP system (SAP Business One) to efficiently manage its internal tasks and processes. To achieve this, they required an infrastructure capable of supporting 176 Citrix users and a bandwidth of 10 Mbps, which entailed a considerable investment in networking, approximately $1.5 billion. However, they did not have the necessary infrastructure to carry out this project.

Our Solution

In this scenario, our experts met with Jasman to understand their needs and concerns. We proposed a remote deployment of SAP Business One in the cloud using Amazon Web Services (AWS). Thanks to this implementation, each Jasman branch was able to operate optimally and independently, with a speed of 1 MB without incurring additional bandwidth costs.

Factors determinants

The cloud implementation through AWS allowed Jasman to use Citrix and leverage Amazon services to ensure the security of its operations. The SAP Business One ERP performed exceptionally well in the cloud environment, exceeding the company's performance expectations.

In terms of cost savings, the proposed solution represented a 50% savings compared to traditional implementation approaches. Furthermore, the implementation was carried out remotely, from Guadalajara to Mexico City, providing convenience and significantly reducing implementation times. According to Juan Manuel Yescas, the project was completed 60% to 70% faster than initially planned.

In short, connecting remotely with AWS and successfully deploying SAP Business One in the cloud has enabled Jasman to streamline its operations, achieve significant savings, and accelerate the implementation process, providing an efficient and cost-effective solution to fuel its continued growth.
