Jasman

SAP Business One on AWS to run Citrix and branch operations without new physical infrastructure.

ERP · Amazon Web Services · Automotive

The challenge

Jasman is a 100% Mexican automotive clinic with a wide presence nationwide, with more than 70 Service Centers distributed across 8 states of the Republic.

Due to its constant growth, Jasman faced the need to implement an ERP system (SAP Business One) to efficiently manage its tasks and internal processes. This required infrastructure capable of supporting 176 Citrix users and 10 Mb/sec bandwidth, which implied considerable investment in networking, approximately $1,500 USD. However, they did not have the necessary infrastructure to carry out this project.

The solution

Our experts met with Jasman to understand their needs and concerns. We proposed a remote implementation solution for SAP Business One in the cloud using Amazon Web Services (AWS). Thanks to this implementation, each Jasman branch was able to operate optimally and independently, with a speed of 1 MB without incurring additional bandwidth costs.

The AWS implementation allowed Jasman to run Citrix and use Amazon services to secure operations. SAP Business One performed above the expected baseline in the cloud environment.

Results

  • 50% savings compared to traditional implementation approaches
  • Remote implementation from Guadalajara to Mexico City
  • 60-70% faster than initially planned
  • Optimal and independent operation of each branch with 1 MB speed
